United Terminal Korea is a leading liquid cargo terminal in South Korea, known for its advanced automated systems and comprehensive services. The terminal offers a range of services, including the loading and unloading of ships and barges, as well as the transportation and storage of liquid cargo in its extensive tank facilities. UTK’s facilities include 64 storage tanks with a total capacity of 468,450 kilolitres, various heating and nitrogen supply facilities, and a state-of-the-art computerized system for efficient operation management.

Driving Change

Infravue was appointed as the Vendor’s Technical and EHS advisor for the portfolio located at the Port of Ulsan in Korea.
Our work focused on the technical integrity of the terminal infrastructure and the associated issues around process safety and performance. A ground up analysis was also performed to present an independent view on the required Capex and Opex under a base case and a growth scenario.
